Construction at 1711 Shady Ave (map) is nearing completion, the space rehabilitated from its previous use a dilapidated laundromat. The owner of Cafe 33 Taiwanese Bistro is the former head chef at Rose Tea Cafe, another Taiwanese restaurant around the corner on Forbes Ave.
