The Organization of Chinese Americans Pittsburgh chapter will hold its annual OCA Free Medical and Dental Clinic on October 15 at the UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Oakland. The clinic provides free medical consultation and Chinese-language interpretation to the local Chinese communities.
Services (Screening Clinic):The event will be held from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Internal Medicine Clinic on the 9th floor of UPMC Montefiore Hospital (map).
- Testing for high blood pressure
- Eye examinations by ophthalmologists
- Dental evaluations with advice for dental care by dentists
- Laboratory testing for cholesterol, liver function tests, kidney function tests, anemia, diabetes, etc.
- Clinical breast exams and Pap smears to screen for cervical cancer by gynecologists
- Hypertension screening and education for all patients
Pre-Registration:
Please pre-register to minimize waiting time. Those patients who wish to see an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist or Podiatry (foot doctor) specialist must pre-register. Priority will be given to those who have pre-registered. If you do not pre-register, please allow an extra 30 minutes to complete required forms.
