The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh will hold "Chinese New Year Celebration: Year of the Pig" on Sunday, February 3.
In ancient times, Buddha asked all the animals to meet him on the Lunar New Year. Twelve came, and Buddha named a year after each one. Come kick off the Lunar year 4717, the year of the Pig, with live music, dance, art making, and more!A complete schedule of events is available on the museum's website. The celebration runs from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and is free with museum admission ($16 for adults, $14 for kids aged 2 through 18, and free for infants under 2).
