Oscar-nominated 2023 Japanese + Wim Wenders film Perfect Days returns to Pittsburgh from May 3.
The 2023 Japanese film Perfect Days, directed by Wim Wenders, which played in Pittsburgh throughout late-2023 and early-2024, will return from May 3 as part of the Row House Cinema's "In Case You Missed It" series.
In this gentle and humble film, a man named Hirayama is content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine, he cherishes music on cassette tapes, books, and taking photos of trees. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world in a stunning movie that feels like a practice in mindfulness.Tickets are available online.
